ROPING LESSONS. Tie-Down Calf Roping, Break-a-way, Team Roping; Heading and Heeling. Some Ranch Roping. Everything from groundwork to advanced on horseback. Stressing good horsemanship and position and how they translate to accurate and quicker catches.

Riding/Horsemanship Lessons: Helping people of all ages to communicate clearly with horses . Trail riding or arena work Brian can help you and your horse to a better level of understanding.

Starting Horses. Brian can Start your Horse or help you start your own horse. With many Horses being started Brian will start out with ground work with the horse getting them gentle and soft ,safely and efficiently. Starting horses in the round pen always keeping safety in mind for both horse and rider. Walking, trotting and loping and moving out of the round pen are common during the first few rides of a young horse.

WORKING WITH CATTLE- Many people want to learn how to move and sort cattle around with there horse. I can help you and your horse confidently move cattle in control showing you how cattle think. Or if you just simply want to expose your horse to cattle I can help you with that.

Horse Hoof Trimming. Brian is a 1998 Graduate of MN School of Horseshoeing. Trims are $35

-Horses for Sale. My goal is to fit the horse to the rider. I take pride in seeing someone I sold a horse to years later enjoying and learning from that horse. Horses range from a seasoned, finished one to a horse that needs a guiding hand to take them along, and prices reflect this. All my horses track cattle, are used on the ranch and trails. Arena work is one tool of many I use when riding a horse. Check the "Horses for Sale" page to see what is currently offered.

-Horse Training- with over  10 years experience of Professional Training. Everything from starting horses, to the fine tune finishing. Specializing in Roping horses, both Tie- Down, and Team Roping. An AQHA Point earner in Tie-Down and Team Roping both Heading and Heeling.

PHILOSOPHY-  my goal is to have a supple, responsive, happy horse. I will work with a horse to have respect of me before I am horseback, once this is accomplished I will ask for the same while be ridden. This is accomplished using basic fundamentals of pressure and release, with good timing. Rewarding the positive outcome with release and discouraging the undesired one with pressure. I find that achieving this is helped with working with cattle. Even at a walk from a distance tracking cattle can help a horse understand what I am asking. Also knowing when to ask for more, and when to quit for the day is something I have developed with experience.
